“daire is a social network project coordinated by K2 Contemporary Art Association and supported as part of the CSO Partnerships and Networks on Strengthening Cooperation Between Public Sector and CSOs Grant Scheme financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and conducted by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for EU Affairs within the framework of the Civil Society Support Program. The project titled Creating a Network Among CSOs and Public Institutions Through “Artist in Residence” Program is implemented in 9 cities of Turkey.”

Active in Izmir since 2003, K2 Contemporary Art Association is a non-profit contemporary art organization. It has offered the first sustainable contemporary art venue in Izmir. While giving priority to working with young and emerging artists, K2 attaches importance to creating opportunities for established artists to produce new works as well.
